If you choose an online school, you may be able to graduate faster. Keep in mind that the higher the degree you earn, the higher salary you will earn. It’s important for you to know that someone who earns a bachelor’s degree in nursing will earn between $20.00 an hour and $37.00 an hour. This means that someone with a bachelor’s degree will earn about $80,000 a year. Another way to make more money is to keep continuing your education and earn certifications in the nursing field.

Sure, earning certifications is a great way for you to add more money to your paycheck each week but there are other ways for you to make more money as well. One of the best ways for you to make more money in the nursing field is actually to relocate. There are many states that pay more money for nursing than others. A few of the best states you can relocate to include California, Hawaii, Nevada and Massachusetts. You may want to also move into a city because city hospitals may pay more. Finally, think about who you are working for and look into working other places. Some employers may pay more than others.
