Dell Scholars Program
The Dell Scholars Program is intended for hard-working students who are in great financial need. Every year, 250 students are awarded $20,000. In order to apply for this scholarship, you must be a high school senior with a 2.4 GPA.
You be an United States citizen who plans to attend a four year college or university. You must also have participated in the MSDF college readiness program for at least two years. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is January 15, and the winners will be announced on April 10.
Key Club International Youth Opportunities Fund Scholarship
If you are a current or former member of the Key Club, then you want to make sure that you apply for the Key Club International Youth Opportunities Fund Scholarship. In order to apply for this scholarship, you must have participated in Key Club for at least two years.
You must also have a 3.0 GPA and be a graduating senior. Additionally, you must have plans to attend a technical school, community college or a four year college. The deadline to apply for this scholarship varies, depending on your district.
Scholarships.Com Resolve to Evolve Essays Scholarship
This scholarship is open to all students who are between the ages of 13 and 19. In order to get this scholarship, you must write and submit an essay to Scholarships.com. The essay needs to be about practical solutions for solving problems in an organization or an administration. You will need to submit two parts to your essay. The first part should have 5,000 characters, and the second part should have 1,200 characters.
The deadline to submit this essay is September 30th. However, you cannot submit the essay before August 1st. The person who submits the best essay will get a $2,000 scholarship. Furthermore, one person from each grade level will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
Burger King Scholars Program
This scholarship is open to all high school seniors who live in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. In order to apply for this scholarship, you must have a 2.5 GPA. The scholarship prizes range from $1,000 to $50,000. Selection for this scholarship is based on GPA, extracurricular activities, work experience and community service. The deadline to submit an application is January 10.
Step Up to Bullying Scholarship
This is a scholarship that is all students in the United States who are under the age of 25. In order to apply for this scholarship, you must submit an essay to http://www.dosomething.org/stepuptobullying. Two students will be awarded a $500 scholarship. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is October 14.
