7 Day Diet

Another fad diet (with an unknown origin) promising results in a specific time frame is the 7 Day Diet.   Even though it is unbalanced and low in calories, this diet utilizes a different food group each day.  The 7 Day Diet does however have dieters who will testify of its positive results.

Day 1: Eat as much fruit and juices as you wish.  Bananas are excluded.

Day 2: Eat all of the vegetables and vegetable soup that you wish.

Day 3: A combination of Monday and Tuesday.  We recommend fruits in the morning and vegetables in the afternoon and evening. Bananas are excluded.

Day 4: Eat 5-8 bananas and drink 4-5 glasses of whole milk.

Day 5: Eat 4 steaks of meat (3 ounces each of beef, chicken or fish) with unlimited green vegetables.  We recommend string beans, spinach, kale and broccoli.

Day 6: Eat 4 steaks of meat (3 ounces each of beef, chicken or fish) with unlimited green vegetables.  We recommend string beans, spinach, kale and broccoli.

Day 7: Eat 4 steaks of meat (3 ounces each of beef, chicken or fish) with unlimited green vegetables.  We recommend string beans, spinach, kale and broccoli.  This is now three days of meat.  We recommend substituting day seven for all vegetables as outlined in day two.

Though an extreme diet, the one benefit we can see is the easy digestion that comes with the 7 Day Diet.  By eating mono meals your digestive system has less variation of foods to process.

Have you ever tried the 7 Day Diet Plan?  Is it something you would consider for short term weight loss results?
